Annie and Neal were married at Roanoke Park in an intimate ceremony before partying it up at their La Villa KC wedding. Their entire wedding day was full of friends, family, and love, and I cannot wait to share it with you! Their photographer was Stacie with Love & Lumos Photography, and you’re going to love this gallery!
After a morning at River Market eating brunch, shopping, and grabbing coffee, Annie and Neal walked to the lock bridge, where they frequently went with their two kiddos. They added their initials to a lock that Neal brought, and then Neal proposed while Annie was locking it to the bridge! Afterwards, they went back to Annie’s parents’ house to tell the kids, and Neal had planned a big family party as a bonus surprise. How. freaking. sweet!
Annie and her wedding party started off the day at her parents’ house with the Posh KC team doing hair and makeup.
Custom sneakers for the bride?? Yes please!
Annie got to share some sweet moments with their daughter and Maid of Honor, Junie.
Everyone was gushing over the stunning bride (except for the ring bearer. He was more focused on himself).
Meanwhile, the guys were getting ready at Annie and Neal’s new home right down the street!
It was SO much fun transforming this open space at Roanoke Park into an intimate wedding ceremony site. Annie and Neal wanted something simple and cozy, and I think they accomplished that goal!
You could feel the love and excitement as family and friends started to arrive for the ceremony.
The ceremony was sweet, simple, and absolutely beautiful, just like the rest of the wedding day.
After the ceremony, guests began to arrive at La Villa KC for cocktail hour on their beautiful Spanish-inspired courtyard for drinks and charcuterie.
During cocktail hour, the couple and their wedding party snuck away for some formal portraits.
We kicked off the reception in the ballroom of La Villa, and I think this might be one of the most unique and beautiful venues in Kansas City! The Spanish architecture and simple execution is truly stunning.
Mindy with Bloom Florals did such an incredible job on the reception florals and bouquets. It was so much fun to watch her create this greenery installation in real time!
Sam with Hefter Catering and Scott Bradley provided the food and drinks to keep everyone on their feet (did I mention that those tacos were amazing??)
Guests were dancing ALL night long thanks to DJ Connection.
