Event Assistant
Purpose
Supports the Lead Planner/Manager in executing seamless, joyful, and well-organized wedding days. Focuses on setup, tear down, and hands-on tasks to help bring the couple’s vision to life and create an excellent guest experience.

This role is part-time with varying hours during the year. We request that you be available for at least 2 weekends per month. Apply using the link below!
Supports the Lead Planner/Manager in executing seamless, joyful, and well-organized wedding days. Focuses on setup, tear down, and hands-on tasks to help bring the couple’s vision to life and create an excellent guest experience.
Responsibilities
- Assist with ceremony rehearsals
- Assist with rehearsal dinners as needed
- Set up client decor according to client or planner's direction
- Communicate with vendors to ensure vendor and client needs are met
- Coordination of wedding day events, including photos, ceremony, reception formalities, etc.
- Break down and load out of client decor
- Can be up to 14 hour days (typically 6-8)
- Provide feedback after the wedding
- Potential for assistance with office tasks and administrative duties
- This position requires several hours at a time on your feet
- Must be able to carry 50+ lbs
- Must be available to work weekends and some holidays
Skills & Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in customer service or hospitality
- Wedding planning or event experience is great, but I am happy to train the right candidate
- Attention to detail, ability to remain calm in chaos, verbal communication, reliability, customer service, written communication, eye for design, excellent hustle & instincts.
