How to Choose Your Wedding Bar Menu

Decide what types of alcohol will be available at your wedding bar
Depending on your bartending service, they may have different package offers for different types of alcohol. You can opt to serve beer and wine only, or you can add liquor to the menu (make sure you check if mixers are included/required).
What options are available for each alcohol type?
Your bar service might provide you with a (somewhat overwhelming) list of beer and wine options for you to choose from. Narrow that list down by crossing out any options that you and your partner really dislike and highlight your favorites! Signature cocktails are an awesome way to showcase a drink you love and/or to offer liquor to an otherwise beer/wine only menu. Look for inspiration in your food, season, and wedding aesthetic
Aim to have at least one alcohol choice that pairs well with the food you’re serving (think red wines or classic cocktails with steak/Modelo or margaritas with tacos). You can also draw inspiration from the theme of your wedding, your color palette, or even the time of year. If you’re having a summer wedding, a mojito would be a bit more fitting than a hot toddy. If blush is one of your colors, maybe you want to opt for a rosé or another pink drink!
Ask your bartender!
They’re pros for a reason! Whether your venue is providing the alcohol or you’re hiring an outside bar service, bartenders will be your best friends. They don’t just pour drinks; they’re experts in all things alcohol, so they can help you choose the perfect wedding bar menu.
